Micrometers according to DIN 863

Micrometers are standardised Part 1–4 according to DIN 863. Part 1: External micrometers, normal model; Part 2: Micrometer heads, depth micrometers; Part 3: External micrometers, special models; Part 4: Internal micrometers.

Error limits for external micrometers according to DIN 863 Part 1:

Values A = Deviation range of the indication; Values B = Parallelism of the measuring surfaces; Values C = Bending up of the frame.
The values specified in the table presupposes a measuring force of 5–10N. The tolerances of our micrometers are usually lower than the DIN permissiblevalues.

According to the model of the micrometer, the following versions are used:

Calibration:
Works calibration certificates are issued for all micrometers. A DKD calibration certificate from an accredited laboratory is likewise possible for many types.

Micrometers with special measuring faces and special devices:
We can supply micrometers with special measuring face shapes and all types of fine mechanical devices and spindle drives. For the preparation of a quotation, please send us your enquiries with drawings.
