Diopter

Telescopes Diopter telescopes are adjustable focus telescopes that enable the measurement of the optical power of lenses. The diopter telescope is positioned with its supporting flange at the eyepiece plane of the telescope to be tested. The reticle of the specimen is sharply projected into the reticles plane of the diopter telescope. Any adjustment of the eyepiece of the specimen corresponds to a certain tube extension of the objective in the diopter telescope.
