Andilog Stentor | Atlas

Stentor

The Stentor 1000, 2500 and 5000 are designed to carry out tests for all applications in which the displacement speed is specified by a standard. The speed and displacement values are shown continuously on the console display. The Stentor control system can optionally include a force control unit with two functions:

  • Speed setting.
  • Maintaining a preset force level.

Features

  • Base supports a large worktable (300 x 450 mm) with easy access
  • Fixing holes provided for easy assembly of fixing tools
  • Force gauge is fitted on mobile crosshead actuated by a ball screw system
  • Displacement carried out using linear guidance system inside test stand body
  • Adjustable mechanical or digital limit switches
  • Each limit switch has 2 functions, stop or reversal for cyclical tests
  • Control console can be used to start the test, control fast upward and downward movement and set the test parameters:
    • Speed setting between 10 and 350 mm/ minute upwards and downwards
    • Stopping or reversal of movement when the crosshead reaches the limit switches
    • Stopping or reversal of movement based on a displacement value (digital limit switches)
    • Stopping or reversal of movement based on the force value (optional)
    • Number of working cycles

Atlas

The Atlas 5 to 50 KN test machine is designed to carry out a range of tests which exceed 5KN load. It’s powerful motor and twin-column structure gives this machine the same basic functions as the Stentor.

Features

  • Base supports large worktable
  • Fixing holes provided for easy fitting of fixing tools.
  • Fitted on a mobile crossbar moved by a twin ball screw system.
  • Mobile crossbar is guided by system of twin columns inside test stand body.

Atlas machines use the same control consoles as Stentor test stands.
