Opening Torque Measurement

Andilog Anditork | Drivetork

The Drivetork is a flexible easy to use system that is built for manufacturers who need to undertake a variety of opening tests and want to eliminate the variability experienced with manual systems.
Many test conditions can be pre-programmed such as closing movement, opening movement and sequential movements etc. The rotation speed can be adjusted in both directions from 1 to 20 rpm and the internal motor exerts the torque at a constant speed ensuring that subsequent tests are carried out under conditions that are always the same.
The measuring head height can be adjusted to take bottles from 100 mm to 300 mm in height and is fitted with small jaws that grip the cap to be tested.
The measurement display shows the torque graph curve and calculates the maximum opening torque together with other relevant characteristics.
In more specialist applications the Drivetork can be used to measure rupture of security rings and unscrewing torque consecutively. The system is protected from mechanical overloads and also has an emergency stop button incorporated.

Anditork is a cost effective manual solution for Opening Torque Measurement. The EA model is for simple closures and the ST model is for those with security rings. The ST model measures both break and opening torque. Technical Specifications available on request.
