Twist Torsion Test Stand

The TWIST torsion test stand is suitable for undertaking precise, repetitive torque measurements. The system has a capacity of 1-60 Nm and combines torque and angle measurement. The torsion meter enables torsion tests to be made on various samples such as springs and metal or plastic parts. It is made up of a horizontal, rigid test stand, with two precision guidance rails. On the test stand, there are two working heads that are fitted with vertical circular plates. A CENTOR W Dual unit is used to process and display the measurement results of the TWIST system. It has the power to record values coming from two different sensors simultaneously, monitor the set points and make a calculation for each channel. On its display, it shows a Torque/ Angle curve. The TWIST system provides a simple, versatile system for dealing with a wide range of torsion tests on the shopfloor or in the laboratory.

Springtwist

The Springtwist system is dedicated to the measurement of torsion springs. It is a manual system and is fitted with a CENTORDual force gauge. The unit measures and indicates both the torque and angle values on the same display. It is supplied with a set of bored plates and incorporates locating pins to hold the springs in place. The unit is available with additional sensors for high precision measurement of low force springs.
