Articulated Borescopes

The Hawkeye Classic Flexible borescope includes 18,000 optical glass fibre elements delivering high resolution sharpness and clear image detail, which is further enhanced by the SuperNOVA light source. The fibre imaging bundle is acid leached, which increases the image contrast.

Each Classic and Pro Flexible kit contains the following:

Classic Flexible Kit

The Classic Flexible system incorporates a plastic-coated, stainless steel gooseneck sheath which can be moulded to shape prior to use within a cavity. This is simpler and more cost effective solution than traditional articulated borescopes. Included in the standard kit is a mirror tip which simply fits to the end of the borescope and provides a 90º ‘Direction of Vision’ . The Classic Flexible is particularly suited to applications where indirect access is required and the path is simple enough to set the borescope shape prior to entry.

Pro Flexible Kit

The Pro Flexible system has the added benefit of a 2-way articulation function. This enables the operator to control the ‘Direction of view’ of the tip over a 240º range (±120º) in a single plane using a thumb lever on the main body. The control lever can be locked in position to hold a particular view.
