Optical Large Shaft Measurement

Hommel-Etamic WMS

The horizontal WMS shown above is equipped with a granite base for the measurement of large, heavy work pieces. The machine is fitted with a motorised tailstock to ease work piece handling when used in conjunction with overhead crane systems. As with all Hommel-Etamic shaft measuring systems, the WMS has built in calibration standards which are scanned for both length and diameter with every measurement cycle.
