Measurement software for the T8000 System is available in various configurations depending on the nature of the measurements being undertaken. The Standard options are: TurboRoughness, TurboContour, TurboWave and HommelMap.

Features

  • High-resolution Windows 32-bit functionality
  • User configurable screens and print formats
  • Customised toolbars
  • Full CNC operation (manual versions optional)
  • Simple CNC programming
  • Results tolerance banding
  • Password Protection
  • Simple calibration with wizards
  • Optional SPC link

TurboRoughness

TurboRoughness is suitable for undertaking complex surface roughness measurements with ease. The software enables the operator to measure all common roughness and waviness parameters. It allows exact positioning of the traverse unit in manual or CNC mode and displays the position of the pick-up in relation to the work piece. Pick-up signals are displayed both graphically and numerically.

TurboContour

TurboContour is a user friendly, icon driven software that enables accurate contour measurements to be undertakenand evaluated quickly and efficiently. Measurement features such as distances, angles and radii are displayed directly on the screen and can by  asily toleranced using drawing specifications. Measurement results from TurboContour can be exported invarious formats for manipulation in Excel or SPC software packages. DXF file overlays for comparison purposes are also available.

TurboWave

TurboWave is the latest T8000 software solution. It combines the functionality of TurboRoughness and TurboContour to enable both Surface Roughness and Contour measurements to be made using the same measuring station. TurboWave software when combined with the Surfscan traverse system provides the functionality to makehigh precision roughness and contour measurements in one trace. Measurement values are evaluated and displayed clearly in one diagram on the screen. HommelMap
